Versioning
Desktop JForex4 supports both DEMO and LIVE trading environments within a single installed application. However, each environment may use different platform files and run a different version of the platform.
The Login window acts as a Launcher and allows you to:
- Select the trading environment (DEMO or LIVE)
- View the current platform version for each environment
The version information is displayed in the header of the Login window. In the example above:

Note: The Launcher version is independent of the platform version. The platform files for DEMO and LIVE environments are stored and updated separately.
