Folders

All the content needed for the Desktop JForex4 platform is placed inside the folder where the platform is installed.

Strategies

The default folder of the strategies.

Indicators

The default folder of the indicators.

Plugins

The default folder of the plugins.

Templates

The default folder of the chart templates.

Chartshots

The default folder of the chart screenshots.

Workspaces

The default folder of the workspaces.

logs

The default folder of the platform log files.

.cache

Historical price data, historical orders and economic events are saved in here to speed up the chart loading. That can take considerable amount of space.

Uninstallation

All of these default folders will be deleted upon uninstallation procedure as well as all the content inside of them. Make sure to store your important files under custom folders in case you need to use Uninstall function, but want to keep the files.

Customization

Custom paths can be set in Preferences under Paths section.
