06.12.-10.12. Australian and Canadian Central Bank Rates

During the week, main attention is set to be put on the Reserve Bank of Australia and the Bank of Canada bank rate publications on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, minor USD moves could still occur in the second part of the week.

On Tuesday, the Reserve Bank of Australia will publish its Cash Rate at 03:30 GMT.

On Wednesday, at 15:00 GMT, the Bank of Canada is set to release the bank's Overnight Rate. Later on in the day, the US Energy Information Administration at 15:30 GMT will publish the US weekly crude oil inventories data. The event recently caused oil price moves of more than a dollar.

On Thursday, a minor USD move could occur due to the weekly US Unemployment claims release at 13:30 GMT.

On Friday, the value of the US Dollar is most likely going to adjust to the publication of the US Consumer Price Index and Core Consumer Price Index changes at 13:30 GMT.

The moves on the tables are measured in pips by measuring five minutes before and after a data release. The exception are the crude oil price benchmarks, which are shown in US Dollar cents.
