Netflix jumps 15%

At the start of Wednesday's US trading hours, the stock price of Netflix surged by 15.27% or 76.37 US Dollars.

The move occurred due to the company announcing that the company's subscriber number had reached above the 200 million mark at the end of 2020. Moreover, Netflix revealed that it expects that it would no longer need to accumulate debt to pay to studios for its broad content of TV shows and movies.

In addition, the company stated that it is considering share buybacks.
