The US Dollar is in a retreat against the Canadian Dollar on Friday. This retreat began when the currency exchange rate failed to break through the resistance of the 100-hour SMA. It was previously forecasted that such a scenario might take place. However, the fact that by the middle of Friday's trading session the currency pair had fallen below the 55-hour SMA, was an unexpected event. Due to the fact that the 55-hour SMA has been passed, it is most likely that the currency pair will decline down to the support of the monthly S2 at the 1.3155 mark. Meanwhile, as the Friday's trading session will end soon, it needs to be taken into account that new weekly levels of significance will take hold on the Greenback's movements against the Loonie.
