Chinese stock market recovers following emergency support

Chinese shares added on Monday, as Beijing appointed support measures to prevent a full-blown stock market crash in the world's second-biggest economy. After China's booming equity market fell approximately 30% from the June's peak by the end of last week, the CSI Index 300 gained 2.9% to 3,998.54 points and SSE Composite Index inched up 2.4% to 3,775.91 points in Asian trading.
