The last week of July is expected to be relatively calm. Data releases are scheduled to start on Tuesday with the Canadian Retail Sales at 12:30 GMT. However, note that the given release has not caused significant moves.

On Wednesday, it is possible that the Canadian CPI could cause a minor increase of volatility at 12:30 GMT.

On Thursday, the US Unemployment Claims data is set to be published at 12:30 GMT.

On Friday, the UK Retail Sales data will be issued at 6:00 GMT. On the same day, Markit is going to publish PMIs survey results for Germany, the UK and the US.

The reactions on the tables are measured in pips by comparing the difference in the exchange rate five minutes before the event and five minutes after the event.

USD/CAD: Canadian Retail Sales

The US Dollar traded sideways against the Canadian Dollar, following the Canadian Retail Sales data release on Tuesday at 12:30 GMT. The USD/CAD exchange currency rate lost 1 pips or 0.00% after the release. The Greenback continued trading at the 1.3460 level against the Loonie after the release.

EUR/USD: US Retail Sales

The Euro traded sideways against the US Dollar, following the US Retail Sales data release on Thursday at 12:30 GMT. The EUR/USD exchange currency rate gained 3 pips or 0.02% after the release. The Euro continued trading at the 1.1420 level against the Greenback after the release.
