Goldman Sachs revises its estimate of US non-farm payrolls in October

Goldman Sachs economists revised their forecast of US non-farm payrolls for October to a 340K rise, up from a 325K gain, and raised their estimate of GDP for the Q3 by one percentage point to 3.1%.

ISM Manufacturing PMI drops below 60-point mark

On Wednesday, data released by the Institute for Supply Management showed the US Manufacturing PMI dropped to the 58.7-point mark, missing expectations for a 59.5-point reading.
