On Wednesday, data released by the Institute for Supply Management showed the US Manufacturing PMI dropped to the 58.7-point mark, missing expectations for a 59.5-point reading.

Canadian Manufacturing PMI slightly down in October

Markit said on Wednesday its Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index for Canada worsened in October, sliding to 54.3 from 55.0 registered in September.
