Nvidia stock hits new ATH

At the start of Wednesday's US trading hours, the stock price of Nvidia hit a new all-time-high level at $661.00 per share.

The stock price extended a surge, which started on May 19. Since then, the price had gained 21.87%.

The surge was attributed initially due to the announcement of a 4-for-1 stock split. Moreover, it was followed up by better than forecast quarterly earnings, which added fuel to the surge.
