GBP/USD respects round levels

The GBP/USD has found support in the 1.2350 level. The event has been followed up with a surge to the 1.2450 mark.

In the case of the rate moving above 1.2450, the currency pair would most likely face resistance in the 1.2500 level. Higher above, the April high zone is bound to act as resistance at 1.2510/1.2525.

However, a decline of the Pound against the US Dollar might look for support in the combination of the 50, 100 and 200-hour simple moving averages and the weekly simple pivot point at 1.2400/1.2430. Afterwards, the 1.2350 might once again act as support.
