Fed has no plans to sell assets from balance sheet

According to the minutes of the last FOMC meeting, the Fed is not planning to sell any part of securities from its balance sheet, the total amount of which reaches $4.3 trillion, the record high level. The president of the St.Louis Fed James Bullard pointed on risks of increasing long-term interest rates, in case the Fed sells some of bonds. This tendency, in turn, may decrease credit and economic growth.
