Sterling headed for third weekly gain

The Sterling is set for a third straight weekly advance against the U.S. Dollar, its longest streak of weekly gains since September 2012, as the U.K. home prices increased in May. The British Pound was at $1.5699 at 7:42 a.m. in London after rising to $1.5738 on Thursday, the highest point since February 11; the currency has appreciated 0.9% weekly. The Pound traded at 84.99 pence per Euro.
