Labour costs per hour worked in the 17-nation bloc advanced by 1.3% on an annual basis in the last three months of 2012 mainly due to a slower pace of growth in wages, salaries and non-wage costs in the Q4, the Eurostat reported on Friday. Hourly wages and salaries increased 1.4% in the Q4, which was slower than a 2% rise the prior quarter, the non-wage costs rose 1% in the Q4 compared to a 1.4% jump in the Q3.
