U.S. employment accelerated notably above economists' predictions in February as the growth of new jobs pushed down the unemployment rate to its lowest level in four years, the Labor Department reported on Friday. After an improvement of non-farm payroll employment in January by 119,000 jobs, it continued to grow in February by 236,000 jobs compared to a forecast of 171,000 jobs.
