British FTSE 100 index fluctuated between gains and losses on Friday on different corporate news. Oil shares surged along with a crude price. BT Group climbed 0.8% and BP added 0.9%. RSA Insurance Group jumped 1.9% after BoA upgraded its stock from neutral to buy. On downside Lloyds Banking Group dropped 1.7% after lender announced bigger than expected loss of GBP 2.8 billion. RBS followed Lloyds and gave up 2% while Barclays advanced 1.6%. At the moment of writing FTSE 100 is 0.08% or 4.96 points down at 5,932.85.
