WTI rises as TransCanada Corp starts pipeline next month

West Texas Intermediate crude increased on Wednesday rising for the fourth straight session recording the longest streak of gains since August after TransCanada Corp. revealed its plan to start the Keystone XL pipeline in January and as data showed inventories in the U.S. dropped. WTI for delivery in January slipped $1.35 to a level of $97.39 a barrel on the NYMEX.
