UK monthly GDP grows

In June 2025, UK monthly GDP grew by 0.4%, following declines of 0.1% in both May and April. For the three months to June, GDP rose by 0.3% compared to the previous quarter, mainly driven by growth in the services sector. Services output increased by 0.3% in June, following 0.1% growth in May and a 0.2% fall in April.



Production output rose by 0.7% in June after a sharp 1.3% drop in May, while construction output grew by 0.3% following a 0.5% decline the previous month. Over the quarter, services grew by 0.4% and construction by 1.2%, but these gains were partly offset by a 0.3% fall in production.
