A big part of the mass is taken up by the Markit Services and Manufacturing PMIs. On Wednesday, the Purchasing Managers Indices will be released for European countries, the UK and the US. In total, there will be ten data sets from Markit.
Also on Wednesday, the UK Consumer Price Index at 07:00 GMT, the Canadian CPI at 13:30 GMT, US Retail Sales at 13:30 GMT will be released. Moreover, in the evening the Federal Reserve is set to release their FOMC Rate Statement and Economic Projections at 19:00 GMT.
On Thursday morning, a rare event will occur, as the Swiss National Bank will make a rate statement and issue a Monetary Policy Assessment at 08:30 GMT.
In addition, on the same day, at 12:00 GMT, the Bank of England is set to announce its interest rate and publish a Monetary Policy Summary.
Thursday will not end with the BoE announcement, as at 13:30 GMT expect the weekly US Unemployment Claims that sometimes cause a notable USD move.
On Friday, the UK and Canada are publishing their Retail Sales data at 07:00 and 13:30 GMT. Also note that on that day the Bank of Japan is making a policy statement. However, the bank does not pre-set a certain time for publication.
The reactions on the tables are measured in pips by comparing the difference in the exchange rate five minutes before the event and five minutes after the event.
