German DAX experiences a choppy session on Monday

German DAX index rose in the first half of session on Greece's poll results which showed Greeks supported pro-austerity parties. Nevertheless index retreated and traded into red prior to the close on lingering Spain worries. Financials posted substantial losses with Deutsche Bank falling 1% and Commerzbank tumbling 3.8%. Electricity provider RWE AG dropped 2% and power company E.ON AG lost 2.1%. Trading volumes are low as Germany has a bank holiday today. At the moment of writing DAX index is 0.2% or 14 points down at 6,325.61.
