"The holiday-induced calm in the capital markets conceals a high degree of anxiety."
— Marc Chandler, Brown Brothers Harriman (based on investing.com)
Pair's Outlook
By the middle of Friday's trading the New Zealand Dollar remained at the opening price of 0.7000 against the US Dollar. Although the currency exchange rate did fluctuate in a range of almost 30 base points, it was clear that the decrease of the volatility had affected the pair. Moreover, markets were in the expectations of new fundamental data and political developments from the side of the Greenback. However, the previous forecast of a surge up to the monthly PP, which is located at the 0.7033 level, remained still in force.
