U.K. shares retreat as mining companies decline

U.K. shares declined for a third straight day, approaching its lowest level in more than a month and a half, as U.S. jobs data are awaited by the investors this week. The FTSE 100 fell 0.7% to 6,549.09 as of 1:33 p.m. London time and it retreated 1.2% in November; however, the equity-benchmark has jumped 11% yearly. The FTSE All-Share Index slipped 0.7%, while Ireland's ISEQ Index dropped 1.4%.
