Euro slightly changed versus U.S. Dollar after OECD data

European currency depreciated 0.04% to 1.3499, after closing at 1.3504 on Monday, as investors where concerned about OECD revised global growth forecasts, which were downgraded almost half a percentage point to 2.7% for this year and 3.1% for 2014, while the Eurozone economy is expected to rise by 1% next year, compared to a May's estimate of 1.1%, the Paris-based organization reported today.

German ZEW economic confidence index rocketed to 4-year high

The German ZEW economic sentiment advanced to 54.6 this month, the 4-year record-high level, surpassing analysts expectation of an increase to 54.0, while the gross domestic product added 0.3% on a quarterly basis and grew 0.6% on a annual basis, meeting the preliminary estimates.
