Swiss watch export rises 8.5% in September

Watch exports in Switzerland increased notably in the month of September mainly due to an additional working day and a favourable base effect, a report published by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry revealed on Tuesday. Swiss watch exports gained 8.5% standing at CHF 1.9 billion, however since January 2013 the nation has exported 1 million less watched than in the same period last year.
