Yen is on slide to boost shipping business in Japan

The Japanese Yen edged lower to 97.07 against U.S. Dollar by midday trading session in Tokyo on Tuesday. The currency reached a four-year low, as it slipped to 99.95 on the 11th of April. Changes in a Yen's value will be the main driver on this year shipping industry profits. Analysts say that despite a decline in freight rates, the weaker Yen will boost profits by $500 million.
