In October the industrial production of India dropped the first time since 2009 depreciating bond yields and the
rupee. Output at utilities, mines and factories decreased 5.1%. Economists
surveyed by Bloomberg predicted only a 0.7% decline. Today's figures may force
central bank to consider benchmark interest rate cut, said analysts.
