Canada's GDP numbers miss expectations

According to the latest news released on Tuesday, Canada's Gross Domestic Product dropped 0.2% month-on-month in March, following the 0.1% decline seen in February and falling behind the 0.0% market forecast. Meanwhile, on an annual basis, the country's GDP grew 1.1% in March, compared to the 1.5% reading seen last year and failing to meet analysts' expectations of a 1.4% growth pace.
