BoE keeps monetary policy unchanged as unemployment declines

On Thursday, the Bank of England decided to keep the monetary policy in the country unchanged, despite a significant decrease in unemployment during last months, which fell close to the key level of 7%. The BoE kept the benchmark interest rate at 0.5% today, while bond purchases remained at 375 billion pounds. Probably, the BoE will wait for a more considerable fall in jobless rate.
