Ruble down as crude declines

The Ruble depreciated for a second consecutive day as crude, the main export good of Russia, decreased. The currency declined 0.2% against the greenback to 32.40 at 2:35 p.m. Moscow time, after a 1% gain last week. Oil dropped 0.9% to 106 a barrel in New York today. The crude and natural gas industry accounts for about half of the nation's budget revenue.
