Colombian Peso increases to a two-week high

The Colombian Peso advanced to 1,796.1 per the U.S. Dollar in early Bogota trading session on Thursday. That was the highest level of the currency in two weeks on an intraday basis. Investors speculate about a further Peso appreciation, as local companies receive a lot of revenue in the U.S. Dollar and change it to the local currency to pay taxes.
