"It's all about the negotiations of Greek debt"
- Mike Ryan, chief investment strategist at UBS Wealth Management Americas
U.S. stocks fell on Tuesday as investors debated whether a three-week rally in equities was warranted. The S&P 500 decreased by 0.10%, or 1.35 points, to 1,314.65. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.26%, or 33.07 points, to 12,675.75.
"It's all about the negotiations of Greek debt," said Mike Ryan, the New York-based chief investment strategist at UBS Wealth Management Americas.
"There's concern that, if it spills over, it undermines some of the progress being made. I'm still not convinced that they solved all of their problems. The next question of course is how deep of an impact that will have on corporate earnings and how the markets price that in."
