The US Dollar depreciated against the Canadian Dollar, following the Canadian Employment data set release on Friday at 13:30 GMT. The USD/CAD exchange currency rate lost 20 pips or 0.15% after the release. The Greenback continued trading at the 1.3315 level against the Canadian Dollar after the release.
Statistics Canada released the Canadian Unemployment Rate data, which came out better-than-expected of 5.5% compared with the forecast of 5.7%.
According to the official release: "There were more people working in manufacturing, construction and agriculture. At the same time, employment declined in health care and social assistance."
