The European Common Currency traded sideways against the US Dollar, following the US PPI set release on Wednesday at 12:30 GMT. The EUR/USD exchange currency rate lost 6 pips or 0.03% right after the release. The Euro continued trading at the 1.1000 level against the Greenback.
The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the US PPI data, which came out better-than-expected of 0.1% compared with the forecast of 0.0%.
According to the official release: "The Producer Price Index for final demand rose 0.1 percent in August, seasonally adjusted. Final demand prices moved up 0.2 percent in July and 0.1 percent in June. On an unadjusted basis, the final demand index rose 1.8 percent for the 12 months ended in August."
