Carnival Cruises is beat down by management

The stock price of Carnival Cruises has suffered a major drop, as during European trading hours on the London stock exchange the stock price plummeted 5.80%.

The decline was caused by the management of the company announcing a new share issue. Namely, the company is raising cash to cover its liabilities each time the stock price surges by issuing additional stocks.
