South Korea's unemployment drops to 3.2%

South Korea's jobless rate reached its bottom in four months due to the continued recruitment boost in the service segment. According to Statistics Korea, the country's unemployment in May fell to 3.2% in contrast to the previous month's 3.4%. However, Ronald Man, HSBC Holding PLC's analyst, stated that as Korean manufactures are becoming more restrained, this could negatively impact the production output, and, consequently, weaken the jobless rate.

European shares end mostly higher despite Spain's record yields

European stocks faced a choppy session on Tuesday as Spain's yields hit 15-year record high. However, most of stock indices ended into green area as investors bet on stimulus from Fed and European central banks. FTSE 100 index gained 0.5%, German DAX surged 0.9% and Spanish IBEX 35 added 1%. Stoxx Europe 600 ended 0.4% up.
