Ford seeks to export Focus model from China to US

Ford Motor stated on Tuesday it would export its new Focus cars to the United States from China instead of the earlier planned Mexico as it would save the company about $500M.

US current account deficit widens to $116.8B in Q1 of 2017

Preliminary data released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis revealed the US current account deficit jumped to $116.8B in the Q1 of 2017 from $114.0B registered in the Q4 of 2016.

Canadian wholesale sales climb 1.0% in April

Statistics Canada reported on Tuesday that Canadian wholesale sales rose 1.0% in April, following the preceding month's gain of 1.2% and topping expectations for a 0.5% increase.
