U.K. economy picks up in Q1

Economic growth in the United Kingdom increased the pace of advance during the first threee months of this year, as the GDP added 0.8% on a quarterly basis after a 0.7% rise in October-December. Year-on-year economy surged 3.1%, the largest jump since 2007. However, economy is still 0.6% below the year 2008 maximum, as during the financial crisis British economy lost 7.2%.
