Pound forecasts highest since 2011 on interest rate view

Analysts have increased their forecasts at the end of the year for the Pound versus the Dollar to the most on speculation the Bank of England is going to rise interest rates before the Fed. The Pound is predicted to trade at $1.62 by December 31, the highest prognosis for the end of the year since November 2011. The U.K. currency dropped 0.2% $1.6606 as of 12:15 p.m. in London after reaching to $1.6786, the highest since February 17 and it is almost unchanged at 83.43 pence against the Euro after the 1.5% drop a few days ago.

Asian stocks advance before China's data

The majority of Asian stocks increased on Thursday rebounding from the weakest level in a two-week period as investors' risk appetite lowered before economic data from China were released showing whether the world's second largest economy is slowing or not.
