European shares gain on jump in UK home prices

European equities advanced on Monday trading session with the region's benchmark index Europe Stoxx 600 extending its last week's gain after a report showed that house prices in the United Kingdom climbed the most in more than a year. The benchmark Stoxx Europe 600 Index added 0.4% by 8:22 a.m. London time with four stocks rising for each falling.

Global equities rise on increase of bank lending in China

Global shares increased on Monday with the gauge measuring performance of stocks world-wide rising and extending its largest weekly advance in a four-month period after a report showed that bank lending in China rose booting prospects for economic growth in the country. The MSCI World Equity index added 0.5% following last week's gain of 2.4%.
