US Services PMI grows at a slower-than-expected pace

As reported by Markit Economics, the US Services Purchasing Manager's Index grew slightly less than anticipated in November. The reading was 54.6, compared to the 54.8 forecast, but a significant increase in newly-emerged businesses was also reported, the highest level during the year.
