Since Tuesday, July 21, stocks of technology giants (Facebook, Amazon and Alphabet) have been depreciating actively.
It is likely that the decline was driven by an upcoming US Congressional hearing. The CEOs of Facebook Inc., Amazon.com Inc. and Google parent Alphabet Inc. had to testify on Monday, July 27.
However, the hearing was postponed due to civil rights leader John Lewis's funeral.
The hearing is expected to concentrate on possible antitrust law violation in order to maintain or expand companies' economic authority.
