NZD/JPY might return to low levels

In early August, the New Zealand Dollar found support against the Japanese Yen in the 2024 low level at 83.15. This event was followed by a recovery that eventually encountered resistance at 91.50/91.80. In September, the rate declined.

The ongoing decline might reach the support of the 2024 low level at 83.15. If this level fails to hold, the NZD/JPY is expected to approach the 2023 low level at 80.45.

On the other hand, a recovery of the Kiwi against the Yen might be slowed down by the 88.00 level and the descending 50-day simple moving average. Higher above, note the 90.00 mark that could act as resistance, before the pair approaches the 91.50/91.80 zone.
