No significant changes were introduced to the USD/CAD currency pair positioning on Thursday, as it remained trading sideways and along the 55-hour simple moving average. The rate, however, provided a second confirmation of a descending pattern. The bearish momentum continues to take upper hand today, thus pushing the exchange rate lower.
The price is currency stranded between the weekly pivot point and the 55– hour SMA. The moving average has constrained the pair down for the past week.
It is expected that the US Dollar remains tended south during the following trading sessions.
