The New Zealand Dollar spent the first part of Wednesday's session relatively calm against the US Dollar. This lack of direction changed by the middle of the day when the currency pair fell 60-pips and consequently breached the weekly and the monthly pivot points at 0.6885 and 0.6850.
Further decline occurred during the Asian session on Thursday send the pair crashing 30 pips more.
However, the NZD/USD currency exchange rate stopped it decline mid-session and retrace north toward the up border of a descending pattern.
Everything being equal, a breakout could be expected within the following session.
