Following a 122-pips or 1.7% decline since June 14, the NZD/USD currency pair has started gaining strength. The decline was stopped by the bottom border of an ascending trend line.
By the middle of the European trading session on Monday, the pair has breached the upper boundary of a narrow ascending channel.
As for near future, the currency exchange rate is likely to continue moving north for a potential target at 0.6976 which is a resistance cluster set by the combination of the weekly and the monthly pivot points. However, technical indicators flash bearish signals.
