Canadian RMPI drops more than expected in July

Statistics Canada reported on Tuesday that its Raw Material Price Index fell 0.6% last month after plunging 3.6% in June, whereas analysts anticipated a decline of 0.2%.

Canadian IPPI plunged 1.5% last month

Statistics Canada reported that its Industrial Product Price Index dropped 1.5% in July, following the preceding month's decline of 1.1% and falling behind analysts' expectations for a 0.7% decrease.

Consumer spending in France rebounds in July

France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies reported that consumer spending surged 0.7% last month, following June's upwardly revised drop of 0.7%.
