US Dollar slips against Yen in risk-off trade

The US Dollar weakened against the Japan's currency, following the release of better than expected economic data from Japan. USD/JPY reached 123.22 on Asian trading, the pair's lowest since June 22. While Japan's household spending edged 2.4% and CPI grew by 0.5% in May, the US market sentiment stayed under pressure through negotiations on the Greek debt.

European stocks slide ahead of Greek debt deadline

European shares declined slightly during the Friday's trading session, as the deadline for a deal between Greece and its creditors neared. The Stoxx Europe 600 decreased 0.6% to 393.97 points, the DAX 30 slipped 0.4% to 11,427.11 points, while the FTSE 100 was down 0.7% to 6,750.6 points.
