Spanish manufacturing returns to contraction

Activity in the manufacturing sector of Spain started to decline once again in November of the current year, slumping for the first time in five months. The benchmark PMI Index, which measures the activity level in the sector, decreased to 48.6 points in November versus 50.9 a month ago. The reading below 50 points indicates a decline, while analysts awaited the indicator to rise to 51.3 points.
