Wall Street trades higher as volume stays low

Stocks on Wall Street inched up on Monday trading session as the trading volume stayed low signaling that investors waited for a payroll report due Friday and as S&P 500 Index traded just below its all-time closing high. The Dow Jones Industrial average climbed 0.15% to 15,639.12, the S&P 500 index rose 0.36% to 1,767.12 and the Nasdaq Composite index added 0.37% to 3,936.59.
