Brent drops amid weak oil production in Gulf of Mexico

Crude declined on Monday trading session and are set to record the largest fall in three weeks as oil production in Gulf of Mexico fell amid storm Karen and after U.S. lawmakers failed to agree on a new debt ceiling. Brent for delivery in November dropped $1.07 to $108.39 a barrel on the London's ICE Futures Europe exchange and it was at a premium of $6.26 to WTI.

Brazil's swaps drop amid lowered inflation outlook

Brazilian swap rates declined on Monday after the country's central bank released a survey showing that the inflation outlook for 2014 was lowered adding to a forecast expecting the pace of growth in borrowing costs may slow down.
